FINAL EXAMS APPROACHING
Final examinations for the Middle School will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, Thursday, May 29th and Friday, May 30th.  Thursday and Friday are half days of school.  See below – a short practice for graduation will be held following exams on Thursday and Friday.

GRADUATION PRACTICE
Following exams on Thursday and Friday the 8th grade will practice for their graduation ceremony.  We will take a short break after exams to have lunch before the practice so it is necessary to send a lunch each day (the HDS dining room will be closed for the season!) with your child.  Student pick up will be at 1:30.

MIDDLE SCHOOL FIELD DAY/RETREAT
On Monday, June 2, from 8:30 – 2:30 the Middle School will retreat to Villa Marie for a day activities planned by Student Government and celebrate the 2013-14 school year.  Parents should plan to drop off and pick up their students at Villa Marie.  Details will follow next week.

THE FINAL DAY!
Tuesday will be the final day of classes for grades 6 and 7.  The new 9th grade students can enjoy their “advanced” status and celebrate a day off from HDS!  The schedule for Tuesday will be short classes to return final exams and say good-byes for the summer.  The short classes will be followed by activities for both classes.

FALL SPORTS PHYSICALS AT HDS

All HDS athletes are required to have an annual physical on file with the school in order to BEGIN PRACTICE and play games. To facilitate this process physicals will be offered at school for those who desire.  The physicals will be given on Friday, May 23rd from 11:00 – 2:00. YOU MUST BRING $10 AND YOUR SIGNED PHYSICAL FORM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
